Carpeted Large Cat Climbing Platform

As a luxury cattery, with many cats coming and going, we’re always on the lookout for products that are safe, durable, and easy to maintain. CatNets is been a fantastic addition to our setup (we have both the CatNets and many of the SkyWalk components).

The system is sturdy and has held up well under constant use from a wide range of cats—young, old, active, and everything in between (our heaviest guest, who loved the Skybox, was a 10kg Maine Coon). Most of our cats take to it immediately, often climbing and exploring within minutes. It’s clear that it meets their instinctual need for elevation and enrichment.

We were also impressed by the fast shipping—everything arrived promptly and well-packaged, which helped us stay on schedule with our installation and setup.

Installation was straightforward, although we’d recommend having two people on hand for the job, especially when working with larger sections. Once up, it’s very secure and gives us confidence that the cats are safe at all times.

From a maintenance perspective, it’s easy to clean, which is a huge advantage in a cattery. The carpeted surfaces are also a big hit with the cats, offering grip and comfort. However, one improvement we’d love to see is replaceable carpet sections—a few enthusiastic scratchers have already left visible marks.

Overall, the CatNets SkyWalk components have proven to be a reliable, cat-friendly enrichment item for our cattery.

As we only have a small backyard we have transferred the yard into a cats playground, which is still a work in progress. We have cat netting over the backyard & have put several of the cat platforms right around so the cats can go from one side to the other via the platforms. We have spread them out so that they can jump from one to the other or just sit & sun themselves & watch the world go by!

We needed to install a sunning spot for our ageing Bengal during Winter but it had to catch the sun when it’s at its lowest so we purchased this lightweight Cat Platform with its cosy carpeted surface to install just under a window ledge. Fifteen year old Amber discovered it straight away and in no time was curled up on her new ledge fast asleep.
